For the headquarters of our client, a global financial organization, we search for an Internal Communications Specialist. In this role you will support Internal Communications program with the creation, implementation and management of a broad range of communications initiatives and vehicles to deepen employee awareness of, and commitment to, the company mission. Core responsibilities of the Internal Communications Specialist will be message alignment within the Corporate Centre , between Group and country units; planning and executing internal campaigns, day-to-day internal communications about key business developments within the Corporate Centre.
The Internal Communications Specialist reports directly to the Global Internal Communications Manager in his/her day-to-day functions.
Key activities:
• Support development of the global intranet; working with the Intranet Manager to create and implement editorial content in collaboration with country unit colleagues;
• Assist in aligning internal communications within the corporate centre (liaise with HR) and with country unit colleagues; particularly during quarterly results and to communicate other significant business developments;
• Support senior management communications;
• Support Asset Management internal communications to ensure message alignment, maximize leadership communication opportunities; communicate business developments;
• Support the editorial team in developing relevant editorial content for the print magazine;
• Support relationship and branding activities;
• Develop and execute ongoing Group Staff communications and activities;
• Support various communications initiatives such as the Code of Conduct, newsletters, HR, E-learning modules; Global Pensions; HR's Lunch & Learn events; new hire program.
• Generally: contributes to the ongoing development of the internal communications strategy in a measurable way.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5-8 years experience in an international environment
• Fluent in English, excellent writing skills (native English)
• Background in either marketing, corporate communications or HR. (Preferably experience in internal communications)
• Good understanding of multimedia techniques
